Can you change the color of my floor tile?

What color options are there with floor tile refinishing?
We have a dozen colors that we use regularly and try to keep in stock. On top of that we can match any solid color in a Sherwin Williams paint deck in our water, chemical, and heat resistant coatings which are not made by Sherwin Williams. This gives you over 5,000 different color options for your floor tile refinishing project. In addition we have colors that simulate the look of stone and marble as well.
How do you handle the grout with floor tile refinishing?
You will still have grout lines after your tile is refinished. The grout and the tile will both be covered in our coating. The coating we use is water, heat, chemical, and scratch resistant, and it should be more resistant to mold and mildew while being easier to clean as long as you follow our care instructions. If there is any loose or missing grout we will repair that before refinishing the tile. In fact it is standard operating procedure on most projects to fill all of the grout lines with new grout. That being said if your grout is old, failing, falling out of the wall. Then we need to dig all of that grout out and completely regrout your tile. This is an extra step and an extra cost so please be sure to request “regrouting and refinishing” if you need both on your estimate. Please call us for more information, we’re here to help.
Are there tiles that you can’t refinish and what kinds do you refinish?
Rarely do we run into a tile project that we cannot do. Unless there is a plumbing related water leak behind the tile and the wall is soft. Then you’d need to have your plumbing issue addressed before we could do anything. Our refinishing services include but are not limited to ceramic tile, glass tile, mosaic tile, porcelain tile, etc.
Name the tile surfaces you can refinish?

If my tile has been previously refinished, can you do it again?
We can refinish it again but it will require more prep work and that will add to the cost and the timeline to complete. Most previously refinished rooms of tile can be completely refinished again in 1-2 days per room. Contact us for pricing and details.
What if my tile needs to be repaired?

Tell me the difference between Tile Refinishing and Tile Reglazing or Resurfacing.
Kleenex and Tissues are different names for the same product. Tile resurfacing, tile reglazing, tile painting, tile restoration or any of the possible other variations are the same thing. As normally refinishing tile is the process of restoring it to like new condition normally in as little as one day without replacing it or doing any demolition work. Which keeps the cost low, the mess contained, and the timeline short. This is why many people choose to refinish their tile instead of to replace it.

Do I have to remove the toilet and vanity in my bathroom to refinish the floor time?
Normally yes you would need to remove both of those items to get a quality job with a 10 year warranty.
If I am doing the floor tile and the wall tile in my bathroom can I use different colors?
Yes you can but if we did all of that in one color we can often complete it in one day, which saves time and money. If we use two different colors it becomes a two day job and that increases the cost. We are happy to do whatever you want. But many customers find this information helpful in their decision making process.
