Our Cabinet Refinishing Process

First, we mask off the work area thoroughly.

Next, we remove the cabinet hardware and mark the cabinet doors to make re-assembly easier.

Then we set up a filtered fume exhauster to control/reduce the dust and odor.

Aggressively clean the cabinet surfaces to remove any oil, grease, dirt, contaminants, etc.

Make any needed repairs to the cabinets like filling chips, cracks, seams, etc.

Sand the cabinets as needed to prepare the surface for refinishing.

Then we apply the solvent based stain of your choice.

After that, we spray on our vinyl sealer.

Then we spray on our pre-cat lacquer top coat.

Once dry we rehang the cabinet doors/drawers and reinstall the hardware.

Remove all the masking materials and clean up the work area.

Your cabinets will be covered by our 10 year warranty.

What is your kitchen cabinet refinishing warranty?

We offer a 10 year kitchen cabinet refinishing warranty. Our warranty has an extended warranty built into it at no extra cost to you. For example if your plumber breaks two cabinet door in half working on the sink. Most of our competitors which charge you the full retail price likely $1,000 or more to fix that. As their warranties do not cover wear and tear or accidental damage. With our warranty if it’s something we can fix in one day you would pay anywhere from $95 to $295 depending on how long it took to complete. Our warranty covers accidental damage and wear and tear with a deductible.

Do you have samples of your work?

Yes we do offer a free sample, if you are ready to move forward with a quote, we’d be happy to stop by and grab a door or drawer from you to do a sample. This allows you to try before you buy. Everyone says they are the best at what they do. But we would happy to show you that our finish won’t scratch off with your fingernail. Quality of work is very important to us.

If my cabinets were painted before, can I have them refinished now?

Yes but we would need to strip off the old paint before we stain or refinish your cabinets. While this would add a few days to a project it is definitely something we can do for you.

I love the stain color my cabinets but it has faded and dulled over time, can you fix it?

Yes we can re-stain the cabinets in the same color they were done originally and after we apply our new vinyl sealer and clear lacquer coats they’ll look as good as new again!
