Our Cabinet Painting Process

First, we mask off the work area thoroughly.

Next, we remove the cabinet hardware and mark the cabinet doors to make re-assembly easier.

Then we set up a filtered fume exhauster to minimize dust and odor.

Aggressively clean the cabinet surfaces to remove any oil, grease, dirt, contaminants, etc.

Make any needed repairs to the cabinets like filling chips, cracks, seams, etc.

Sand the cabinets as needed to prepare the surface for painting.

After that, we spray on our vinyl sealer.

We spray our tinted lacquer on to the cabinets with the color of your choice.

Then we spray on our pre-cat clear lacquer top coat

Once dry we rehang the cabinet doors and drawers.

Then we reinstall the knobs and pulls.

Remove all the masking materials and clean up the work area.

Yes we can refinish your kitchen cabinets. Refinishing is a process where you stain kitchen cabinets and then apply a clear sealer and a clear top coat over the stain to protect it.

How long does it take to Paint my kitchen cabinets?

Every kitchen project is different. Normally a standard kitchen cabinet painting project can be completed in 3 – 5 days. This doesn’t mean you can’t use your kitchen the whole time.

We offer a 10 year kitchen cabinet painting warranty. Our warranty has an extended warranty built into it at no extra cost to you. For example if your plumber breaks two cabinet door in half working on the sink. Most of our competitors which charge you the full retail price likely $1,000+ to fix that. As their warranties do not cover wear and tear or accidental damage. With our warranty if it’s something we can fix in one day you would pay anywhere from $95 to $295 depending on how long it took to complete. Our warranty covers accidental damage and wear and tear with a deductible.

Do you have samples of your work?

Yes we do offer a free sample, if you are ready to move forward with a quote, we’d be happy to stop by and grab a door or drawer from you to do a sample. This allows you to try before you buy. Everyone says they are the best at what they do. But we would happy to show you that our finish won’t scratch off with your fingernail. Quality of work is very important to us.
