Frequently Asked Questions About Shower Refinishing near NKY.
Q: How long does it take to reglaze a shower?
A: We’re normally able to reglaze a shower in one appointment. Obviously every job is different but it shouldn’t normally take more than 3 – 6 hours depending on the condition of your shower.
Q: What is your service area?
A:BRS serves all of the Cincinnati metro area which includes parts of Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana.
Q: What if I have shower doors?
A: We recommend that you remove the shower doors and the track prior to our arrival. This allows us to remove all the silicone from your shower. It also allows us to get the coating underneath the shower door track. Both of these things will help your shower refinishing project to look better and last longer. Anybody that refinishes your shower with the doors and track in place is not your friend. As that can cause issues and problems to occur down the line. We can help you take them off if needed for an additional fee. But they’re very easy to take off. It’s just a few screws that you have to remove to take them out.
Q: Do you offer a warranty on your shower refinishing work?
A: Yes, our shower refinishing warranty is for 10 years. Which applies on most residential and some commercial projects. Contact our office for more information.
Q: What colors can you refinish my shower?
A: We have over 5,000 solid colors to choose from as we can match anything in a Sherwin Williams color deck. On top of that we have a variety of colors that simulate the look of real stone and marble. Additional charges may apply, contact us today to learn more.
Q: What type of showers can you work on?
A: We can refinish most showers including but not limited to Acrylic Showers, Ceramic Showers, Corian Showers, Cultured Marble Showers, Fiberglass Showers, Porcelain Showers, Shower Pans, Tile Showers, Etc.
Q: Are refinished surfaces slippery?
A: They can be and of course that depends on your personal comfort level. We do have a slip resistant surface that we can apply called Anti-Slip to help with that. Additional fees may apply please contact our office for the details on that.
